Warranty Information and Registration

TekBoost.com Warranty

We offer a limited 365 day warranty unless otherwise stated such as clearance items.  Unless otherwise stated as an AS-IS item our warranty covers all items sold including all internal parts originally shipped.  At our sole discretion, we will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the defective item.  If available, we may also offer to replace with a comparable or superior product which buyer may decline. 

Key Benefits:

  1. ‘Next Business Day’ part replacement.  Credit card authorization is required for cross shipments but will not be charged unless item is not returned. Full systems such as servers, workstations, laptops, and desktops are not subject to next day replacement, only small parts.
  2. Support staff available via phone Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Central Time.
  3. After hours support available via email: tech@tekboost.com
  4. Warranty extensions to 5 years are available.

How it really works

Buyer will contact our service department for assistance.  Depending on the nature of the problem we will do the following:

  1. If a part is needed, we will ship by courier (same day if available) or next day air.  Note credit card authorization is required for cross shipments.
  2. For replacement of complete systems, we will ship via expedited means a replacement system after the damaged system is returned to our central depot.
  3. At buyer’s convenience, they may make arrangements to pay for a replacement unit which if for parts will be shipped either by courier (same day), next day air, or at worst 2nd day air or expedited shipping for complete systems.  The replacement unit will not be charged unless the original unit is not returned to us as agreed to or if we received the unit different than was originally shipped.
  4. For domestic orders, we will pay for shipping (with the carrier of our choice) to and from our central depot for any and all warranty repairs.  Items being returned to us shall be shipped by ground service and items being shipped to buyer shall be shipped as described above.  For foreign orders, the buyer shall be responsible for shipping to and from our central depot.
  5. Although we strive to provide products in like new condition, these are used items which may have scratches, blemishes or other minor cosmetic defects.  Unless sold as AS-IS items, we guarantee items will be free of dents, gouges, warped components, or other major / significant cosmetic defects. 
  6. At our discretion we may offer to provide on-site service however, our warranty does not guarantee on-site service. 
  7. Optional Service Level Agreements (SLA) with enhanced service options are available.  Please contact your account manager for additional details.

What is not covered

  1. Software, including without limitation, the operating system and software added to the hardware products by any and all parties
  2. Problems that result, directly or indirectly, from:
    1. External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse or problems with electrical power.
    2. Servicing not authorized by seller or seller’s representative.
    3. Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
    4. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
    5. Using accessories, parts or components not supplied by seller or the manufacturer.
    6. Products for which seller has not received payment.
    7. Normal wear and tear

Legal stuff

Except for the above warranty and unless stated otherwise in the invoice, we are selling all items as used with no guarantees or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied including warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose. 

If a replacement is necessary, buyer agrees to return all original parts including accessories originally invoiced.  Buyer hereby consents and agrees to ship defective items packaged in such a way as to avoid shipping damage and accepts responsibility for damaged sustained during shipment.  Such failures as deemed at our sole discretion may result in delayed, limited or declined warranty service.

Buyer releases seller for any and all damages or losses incurred in the use of the items sold including but not limited to loss of data. Seller’s maximum liability in no case shall exceed the purchase price stated and paid for in our invoice.

Buyer hereby consents to arbitration by a nationally sanctioned body for any and all warranty disputes.

eBay Warranty

We offer a limited 30 day warranty.  Unless otherwise stated as an AS-IS item our warranty covers all items sold including all internal parts originally shipped.  At our sole discretion, we will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the defective item.  If available, we may also offer to replace with a comparable or superior product which buyer may decline.  

Amazon, Newegg, Rakuten, Walmart, Price Falls, and Sears Warranty

We offer a limited 90 day warranty.  Unless otherwise stated as an AS-IS item our warranty covers all items sold including all internal parts originally shipped.  At our sole discretion, we will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the defective item.  If available, we may also offer to replace with a comparable or superior product which buyer may decline.  On a selective basis, we also offer extended warranties of up to 5 years.  Please contact your account manager for additional details.
