HP Z840 Workstation
The Z840 has amazing processing power, internal storage capability, max amount of memory and ability to provide graphics on a professional level. The design offers handles to lift the system and can be used as a side tower or mounted on a rail kit. The system offers a side panel with a key lock, and eight displays. A HP Z Cooler is included that reduces system noise and each cooling zone has sensors so that the fans are only running as long as required to preserve energy. There are three different cooling zones, one for the PSU, one for the storage and l/O and one for the CPU’s and memory. The system has a total of 44 processors and has 16 memory slots with an additional seven expansion slots for 10 storage devices. The standard power supply is 850W and graphics card power goes up to 600W. The system comes with 4 LFF 3.5-inch drive bays and two additional hard drives can be added to the external drive bays.
