Refurbished Dell servers at TekBoost are pre-owned PowerEdge platforms that we inspect, configure to the specification you order, and functionally test before they ship. That build-and-test step is why a refurbished platform can go into production with a known state rather than an unknown one.

Condition and coverage

Servers, workstations and parts for those systems sold on TekBoost.com come standard with a 3-year warranty, with an option to upgrade to 5-year coverage. Warranty terms are set per product, so check the product details page for the term that applies to the configuration you are ordering. Coverage levels and registration are on the warranty page.

How configurations are supplied

Configure-to-order systems are built to the options you select rather than drawn from a fixed shelf build, so the processors, memory, storage and controller in your server are the ones chosen at checkout. The specifications published on each model page are platform capabilities — the ceiling for that platform — not a description of what any particular system contains. Match the exact processor, chassis and installed components to the applicable manufacturer document before you commit.
