Fixed-configuration core switching at 10/25/40/100G (9500X: up to 400G). No PoE — this is a backbone platform, not an endpoint switch.

Catalyst 9500: Aggregation & Core
The 9500 sits above the 9200 and 9300 — fixed-configuration ports at 10/25/40/100G (the 9500X extends to 40/100/200/400G), with models including the C9500-16X, C9500-24Y4C, C9500-48Y4C, C9500-32C and C9500-32QC. Port configuration is fixed at manufacture — there's no upgrading port speed after the fact, so getting the model right up front matters.
None. Use a 9300 or 9200 for powered endpoints — the 9500 is a backbone platform.
