What to tell us
- Model or part number — the exact SKU if you have it, or the role it must fill.
- WAN interfaces — Ethernet, fibre, cellular or serial, and how many.
- Throughput — expected bandwidth, and whether encryption is in the path.
- Services — VPN, SD-WAN or firewalling, since these affect the sizing.
- Modules — any interface cards or modules needed with the chassis.
- Quantity — and whether it is a one-off or a repeat requirement.
- Compatibility — what this has to work alongside.
- Licensing — requirements vary by model across this range, so tell us what your design assumes.
