The Nexus 9300 is the top-of-rack member of the Nexus family: fixed-configuration switches that terminate server connections and hand traffic up to the spine. Port speed at the server side and uplink speed at the spine side are usually the two figures that decide the model.
Individual networking products are not listed on this site yet. Availability of any particular model is confirmed by quote rather than published here, so the fastest route is to request a quote.
What to tell us
- Model or part number — the exact SKU if you have it, or the port profile you need.
- Server-facing ports — 10G or 25G, and how many.
- Uplinks — 40G or 100G, and how many.
- Optics and cabling — QSFP, QSFP28 or DAC, and whether these are needed with the switch.
- Airflow — front-to-back or back-to-front, to match your rack.
- Quantity — and whether it is a one-off or a repeat requirement.
- Compatibility — what this has to work alongside.
- Licensing — tell us which NX-OS tier your design needs. We can report the software version present on a quoted unit, but TekBoost supplies the hardware only: Cisco software licences and subscriptions are not included and are not sold by TekBoost, and must be obtained separately from Cisco or an authorised Cisco partner where they are required.
Put the technical detail in the Quote Details field and the volume in Estimated Quantity.

Airflow and port options
Cisco offers the Nexus 9300 platform in port-side intake and port-side exhaust configurations, identified by blue and red tabs respectively and by the part-number suffix — N9K-PAC-650W against N9K-PAC-650W-B, where “-B” denotes the reversed direction. Tell us which direction the rack needs and we will confirm what the quoted units are fitted with.
On port configuration, Cisco lists models including 48x 1/10-Gbps SFP+ with 6x 40-Gbps QSFP+ (N9372PX), 48x 100M/1/10GBASE-T with 6x 40-Gbps QSFP+ (N9372TX), 48x 1/10-Gbps SFP+ with up to 12x 40-Gbps QSFP+ (N9396PX), and 96x 100M/1/10GBASE-T with 6 or 8x 40-Gbps (N93120TX and N93128TX). The QSFP+ uplinks need optics or DAC cables, which are separate items — see uplinks and optics.
These are platform capabilities from Cisco’s documentation, not a description of any particular unit. Wider range: Cisco Nexus switches.
See all ranges on the networking hub. Networking equipment bought through a TekBoost quote carries our standard 3-year warranty — buying by quote rather than from an online listing makes no difference to cover — subject to the terms, exclusions and conditions on that page. Manufacturer warranty, software licensing and support entitlements are separate and are not included.
